Welcome to my website designed to keep you in the loop on all things newsworthy on your BA (Hons) English Programme at the University Centre Doncaster.  The APP module at level 5 requires students to project manage their own community-based project and I chose to create a newsletter for all students on the programme.  The idea behind the newsletter is to keep everyone up to date with news from the hub and share stories, poetry and tips such as time management and work/study/home balance.  I am also hoping that we can inspire one another and boost morale after what has been a very challenging year which may have left some of us feeling deflated or lost.  The newsletter itself is developed on Canva, a really easy to use platform for all sorts of digital wizardry such as blogs, presentations and even websites.  It is a great platform but the website option did not really meet my needs so here I am using Wix which is also really easy to use, and like Canva, has a free option.  So you're probably wondering why I need a website if I already have a platform for my newsletter.  Well, after taking on board some suggestions from my piers I wanted a way to archive my past newsletters so that they can always be accessed and this seemed like the perfect way to achieve this.
